RTMF adalah singkatan dari Read Tux Fine Manual.

Awalnya, RTMF adalah singkatan dari Read The Fucking Manual, istilah anggota forum pada saat ada newbie yang memberikan pertanyaan teknis dasar yang dipercaya dapat diselesaikan dengan membaca dokumentasi manual yang bersangkutan. Perubahan RTMF menjadi Read Tux Fine Manual, menunjukkan pergeseran budaya yang perlahan menghilangkan istilah linux newbie dan linux elite.
